St. John Neumann Choir
The
Choir, with a membership of about 20 men and women, sings at the 10:30am Sunday
masses all year round, and at special holy day masses throughout the year. They
rehearse on most Wednesday mornings from 9:30am to 11:30am, and every Sunday
at 9:30amto 10:15am. The Choir is considered an extension of the worshipping
assembly, and although at times they present solo pieces, they exist primarily
to lead the congregation in worship and praise through song. All types of music
are sung, including contemporary, traditional, classical and gospel. Depending
on the type of music, they are accompanied by several musical instruments, such
as keyboard, organ, guitar, trumpet, flute, and tambourine.
The St. John Neumann Choir and Players offer their music as part of a dedicated prayer ministry, and they frequently pray together for all those who make their needs known to the group
